The Molnlycke Mepilex Ag Foam Dressing with Silver is an absorbent antimicrobial foam dressing with Safetac technology that provides a rapid, sustained release of ionic silver. The Safetac layer protects the wound and peri-wound area; reduces the risk or maceration; promotes undisturbed wound healing; and minimizes trauma and pain at dressing change. This dressing also inactivates wound pathogens within 30 minutes for up to 7 days. This dressing is well suited for use under compression bandages, may be cut to suit various wound shapes and difficult-to-dress locations, and promotes patient comfort during wear.
