Solosite Hydrogel Dressing An amorphous Hydrogel creates a moist wound environment and is non-cytotoxic. The polymer used is water swell able allowing it to absorb exudate yet remain gel-like until saturated. This allows to remain on the wound longer than gels using water-miscible (soluble) polymers. 3 oz Tube, Amorphous, Non-Cytotic Hydrogel dressing consisting of polyvinyl pyrrolidone in water, the gel is supported by a fusible fibre scrim and protected on both sides by polyethylene film. Assists autolytic debridement Provides moist environment conductive for optimal wound healing. Protects against dehydration and bacterial contamination. Absorbs exudates from the wound.
